Did you know that your glass panels can be heated. The process of manufacturing starts with applying a microscopic dioxide coating to the panel of glass. This coat of dioxide is transparent and conducts electricity. When the glass is installed there are two busbars that run in parallel and applied to each end on the same side of the glass panel. An electrical current is setup to flow through these and produces energy which the radiates from the glass; also known as “Heated Panels”.
