HEATED GLASS PRODUCT INFORMATION
The process of manufacturing heated glass starts with applying a microscopic dioxide coating to the panel of glass. This coat of dioxide is transparent and conducts electricity. When the glass is installed, there are two busbars that run in parallel and are applied to each end on the same side of the glass panel. An electrical current is set up to flow through these and produces energy which then radiates from the glass; this is also known as “Heated Panels”.
